CBSE Releases Sample Question Papers for Classes X & XII for Academic Session 2026-27

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes (MS) for Classes X and XII for the Academic Session 2026–27.
The Sample Question Papers are intended to provide a broad template for question paper design, ensure uniformity and proper coverage of the curriculum, and guide teachers and students regarding the expected assessment framework. The Board has also emphasised the application of concepts in real-life situations through classroom teaching and learning.
CBSE has clarified that there is no change in the question paper design and assessment pattern for the Academic Session 2026–27. The passing criteria will remain the same as applicable during the Academic Session 2025–26.
